description
Pulse oximetry, while ubiquitous, is not infallible. There is a well documented issue tying pulse oximetry accuracy with skin tone, and since a drop in pulse oximetry informs life or death clinical decisions, it is pertinent to solve it. In the coming semester, we will investigate different numbers and types of wavelengths, as well as the use of individual typology angle, and see if we can mitigate these issues without an exorbitant cost.
